Redmi 10

INTRODUCTION

Xiaomi's most venerable weapon continues to be the basic Redmi series, and possibly the Redmi Note family as well, despite the Redmi sub-forays brand into the upper mid-range and lower floors of the high-end market. The Redmi 10 appears to be a deserving continuation of the illustrious series, providing a significant improvement over the Redmi 9 and introducing a few standout features that are especially difficult to find at this price.

The pricing range includes a set of stereo loudspeakers, a 90Hz high-refresh-rate display, reverse wired charging at 9W, a 50MP primary camera, and a dedicated MicroSD card slot to go along with the relatively ample 64GB of internal storage. Furthermore, those features are on top of the standard specifications you typically wish to find in a low-cost gadget.

The nice part is that the price increase for the Redmi 10 is not as drastic as it was for the Redmi 9 when it first came out. The 10, however, outperforms the 10 in almost every way. To accommodate the 90Hz, 1080p+ monitors, even the chipset has been updated. In actuality, this is the market's first smartphone using a MediaTek Helio G88 processor.

The Redmi 10 is a unique gadget that democratizes premium features that were obtainable on more expensive phones. There are many products in the Redmi and Redmi Note lineups that are actually worth getting excited about.

Unboxing

The gadget is packaged in a typical box that contains most of the regular contents. In addition to a 22.5W-rated brick for charging and a clear silicone casing, you also get a USB-C to USB-A cable for data transmission. However, Xiaomi has been providing the same 22.5W charger with the majority of its midrange phones to reduce manufacturing costs, even if the phone only supports 22.5W fast charging up to a maximum of 18W.
