Inside and exterior, the iPhone 12 Pro is a significant improvement. A fast 5G connection and the first 5nm CPU in the world are both within, outperforming all Android phones. On the exterior, the iPhone 12 Pro is made both sexier with a flat-edge design and tougher with a 6.1-inch Ceramic Shield display.

However, the cameras are the true benefit of the $999 iPhone 12 Pro above the $799 iPhone 12 or the $699 iPhone 12 small. The iPhone 12 Pro drops the included charger and adds support for MagSafe wireless charging, much like the other new iPhone 12 models.

After using the iPhone 12 Pro, I think it's a worthwhile investment for dedicated photographers, although frequent 5G use quickly depletes the battery. Others might prefer the $100 more expensive iPhone 12 Pro Max(opens in new tab), which provides a bigger 6.7-inch display, more powerful cameras, and longer battery life.

After being on sale in October of last year, the iPhone 12 Pro is readily accessible. The phone's starting price of $999 is the same as that of the iPhone 11 Pro. However, you now receive 128GB of storage, which is twice as much as last year and, to be honest, long overdue.

The end result is a larger smartphone that is simpler to operate with one hand. The dimensions and weight of the iPhone 12 Pro are 5.78 x 2.82 x 0.29 inches and 6.66 ounces, respectively, as opposed to 5.67 x 2.81 x 0.32 inches and 6.63 ounces for the iPhone 11 Pro. In addition, the IP68 water resistance rating of the iPhone 12 Pro is 6 meters (19.7 feet), which is far deeper than the rating of the iPhone 11 Pro, which is just 2 meters (6.5 feet).
